Georgian Silver Plate Tea Urn

This impressive tea urn showcases the elegance of Georgian design, crafted from silver plate. The urn features a bulbous body, ornate detailing, and a decorative handle and feet. Likely used as a centrepiece for tea service, this piece would have been a statement of wealth and refinement in its time. The design suggests a Victorian influence, blending classic Georgian lines with the more elaborate aesthetics of the Victorian era.

Condition and Collectibility

This silver plate tea urn presents with the expected patina and wear consistent with its age. The silver plate shows signs of wear, with some areas of loss or discolouration. Despite this, the urn retains its overall form and decorative appeal. Collectors of antique silver plate and tea services will appreciate this piece as a representative example of Georgian and Victorian craftsmanship.
