Gold Filled Hinged Bracelet

This gold filled hinged bracelet is a rigid bangle with a closed, oval form. The outer face is decorated with engraved scrolling foliate motifs that run across the full width of the band. The inner surface is plain and smooth. A hinged mechanism sits to one side, with a clasp to the opposite end, and a fine trace chain is attached as a safety feature. The bangle is presented as gold filled, as described in the lot details.

Condition and Collectability

This bangle is offered in the condition described in the lot details and as viewed, and no guarantee of mechanical function is given. Prospective buyers are encouraged to examine the hinge, clasp and safety chain in person or request further information before bidding. The engraved decoration is a notable feature, and the combination of a hinged fitting with a safety chain will appeal to collectors of gold filled jewellery and to buyers seeking a decorative bangle with traditional engraved detail.
