GT 1.0 Mountain Bike
This lot is a GT 1.0 mountain bike, offered in a silver finish with a frame built around a large-diameter top tube and down tube. The model designation 1.0 is marked on the frame, and the GT name is applied to the down tube. The bicycle is fitted with a front suspension fork and mechanical disc brakes at both wheels, with Schwalbe tyres on 26-inch-style wheels. A Topeak saddle bag is mounted beneath the saddle, and a rear mudguard and a frame-mounted pump-style accessory are fitted. The GT 1.0 suits riders seeking a practical, traditional trail-style mountain bike.
Condition and Provenance
The bicycle shows signs of use, including general surface marks and dirt to the frame, fork and wheels. Some wear is evident to the fork legs and tyre treads, and the drivetrain and saddle show marks consistent with age. The saddle bag and rear mudguard appear to be later additions rather than original fittings. No documentation or service history accompanies this lot. The model and finish may interest collectors of GT bicycles or enthusiasts looking for a straightforward project bike.
