This wooden bunk bed frame by Habitat is finished in an orange paint and arranged as a two-tier bed with a rail-and-post construction. The upper and lower sleeping platforms each carry a single red mattress with a pink and orange geometric flower print and contrasting piped edges. The frame combines painted sections with areas of natural wood on the upright posts and some of the rails, giving it a contrasting two-tone appearance.
Condition and Character
The frame shows the orange paint finish with some areas of natural wood exposed, which is consistent with age and use. The mattresses display the surface wear and fabric patterning typical of pieces that have been in regular service. Buyers should inspect the piece in person or request further details before bidding. Its bold colourway and retro-style patterned bedding may appeal to collectors of mid-century or 1970s-inspired furniture, as well as to buyers seeking a distinctive bunk bed for a children’s room, guest room or shared space.
