Vintage Halcyon Airforce Motorcycle Goggles
This lot offers a pair of Halcyon Airforce motorcycle goggles, a vintage style of riding eyewear. The goggles are marked with the British standard BS 4110 and the wording PATENT REG. DESIGN, and the lenses carry the Halcyon name on the frame. The design features a brown padded surround, a metal frame holding two clear lenses, and a central clasp that joins the two halves. An adjustable brown webbing strap is fitted to each side, allowing the goggles to be secured around the head.
Condition, Originality and Collector Interest
The goggles show general age-related wear, including some surface marking to the clear lenses and visible scuffing to the silver-finish metal frame. The brown leather-style surround shows signs of ageing, and the webbing straps appear to be present. The goggles are offered as seen, and no assurance is given as to their function. Vintage Halcyon goggles with their original BS 4110 marking are of interest to collectors of motorcycle memorabilia, period riding accessories and British vintage eyewear.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
