Dennison Silver Pocket Watch
This is a handsome Dennison silver pocket watch, hallmarked for sterling silver and dating to circa 1930. The watch features a white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial. The case is beautifully crafted in silver, exhibiting a classic Victorian aesthetic. The movement is a ‘limit’ movement, a feature often found in higher-quality pocket watches of the period.
Condition and Collectibility
The watch is presented in a visibly aged condition, consistent with its age and use. The dial shows some signs of wear, and the silver case exhibits surface scratches and minor dents. Despite this, the watch retains much of its original charm and would be of interest to collectors of antique pocket watches, particularly those specialising in British-made timepieces. The hallmarked silver case and ‘limit’ movement add to its desirability.
