Framed Antique Portrait Print of Mrs Hannah More
This gilt-framed monochrome print depicts a seated woman in a bonnet and deep lace collar, set against a dark, shadowed background. The printed inscription beneath the image reads “Mrs Hannah More”. The tonal modelling and rich dark areas suggest an engraved or mezzotint reproduction. The image is set within a cream inner mount and a pale blue-grey outer mount, enclosed by a moulded gilt frame with a decorative edge.
Condition and Presentation
The print is glazed and presented in its original gilt frame with both mounts in place. Light toning is visible to the paper margins, consistent with age. The frame shows general wear to the gilt finish. An auction lot label is attached to the glass. The portrait would appeal to collectors of antique British prints, portraiture and framed decorative wall art.

Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
