Two Haynes Manuals for the Volkswagen Golf GTI
This lot comprises two Haynes hardback manuals covering the Volkswagen Golf GTI. The first is Haynes Max VW Golf, subtitled “The definitive guide to modifying”. Its contents are listed on the cover and include Golf model history, security, insurance, body, suspension, lights, wheels, ICE, brakes, engines, interiors and a section described as “everything in one book”. The second is the You & Your Volkswagen Golf GTI by Andy Butler, subtitled “Buying, enjoying, maintaining, modifying”, published by Haynes. The hint describes the lot as including the Max Power edition of the Golf GTI, and both volumes are presented together as lot 526.
Condition and Collector Appeal
Both books show general signs of handling. The covers display scuffing, marking and wear to the corners and edges, and the spines and boards are not pristine. No internal condition has been verified and the contents have not been checked for completeness. Haynes manuals of this type are widely sought after by Golf GTI owners, restorers and enthusiasts who want practical guidance on maintenance, modification and ownership of the model, making this pairing of a modifying guide and a buying and maintenance guide of interest to a range of buyers.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
