Heal’s Nest of Three Wooden Tables
This lot comprises a nest of three wooden tables made by Heal’s, offered as a graduated set that stacks together for compact storage or can be arranged separately as occasional tables.
The set consists of three rectangular tables decreasing in size, each with a flat timber top displaying a pronounced, figured grain. The tops are supported on slim, square-section legs with tapered feet, and the smallest table is fitted with a stretcher rail between its legs. A small round brass plaque inscribed “Made by” with a central emblem is set into one of the tables, identifying the maker. The graduated form and clean lines are characteristic of mid-century British furniture design.
Condition and Collectability
The tables show signs of age and use consistent with their period, including surface wear, scuffs and light marks to the tops, most noticeably on the smallest table. The brass maker’s plaque remains in place and is in good order. The set retains its original form and proportions, which will appeal to collectors of Heal’s furniture and those seeking well-proportioned vintage nesting tables with an authentic, lived-in character.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that once a bid is placed we will not be able to issue any refunds unless there is a clear and obvious error made by ourselves in the item title, in the event of an incorrect bid being placed, you must contact us on the mobile phone number 07904 339160/description.
Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
