Herrals S-100 Transverse Flute in Case
This lot is a Herrals S-100 transverse flute, presented in its fitted black hard case with a blue lined interior. The instrument is offered as a complete set of its visible parts, with the case and cleaning rod housed alongside it. The flute has a silver-coloured metal body with a multi-key mechanism of rounded pad-style keys, and the three sections (headjoint, body and footjoint) are laid out in the case. A cleaning rod is also included in the case.
Condition and Collector Interest
The flute and its keys show general signs of age and handling, with some wear visible to the metalwork and finish. The blue lining of the case shows marks and general wear consistent with use. The instrument is offered as seen, and no assurances are given regarding its playing condition. Buyers interested in vintage transverse flutes, student instruments or original case sets may wish to examine the lot in person or request further information prior to bidding.
