Hollywood Golden Age Photography Collection
This is a substantial collection of black and white photographs featuring iconic Hollywood film stars. The lot includes images of James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, and others, capturing them in various poses – promotional shots, candid moments, and film stills. These photographs appear to be vintage, likely studio publicity prints intended for press and promotional use, offering a glimpse into the glamour and allure of classic Hollywood.
Condition and Collectibility
The photographs exhibit signs of age and handling, with some showing edge wear, minor creases, and occasional surface marks. Despite these imperfections, the images remain largely clear and retain their visual impact. This collection would be of particular interest to film enthusiasts, collectors of vintage photography, and those seeking to own a piece of Hollywood history. The variety of stars represented adds to the appeal and potential value of this lot.
