Italian Bohemian Ruby Glass Decanter and Six Glasses
This lot is a set of six Italian Bohemian ruby glass glasses and a matching decanter, offered as a drinks set for the collector or the home bar.
The decanter has a ruby-coloured glass body with a bulbous lower section that narrows to a tall neck, and it is finished with a stopper. The body and base carry gold-coloured detailing and floral decoration, with scrolling borders around the central panel. The six matching glasses have ruby-coloured bowls, gold-coloured rims and stems, and similar floral motifs and scrolled detailing to the decanter. The combination of deep red glass and gilt-style decoration is characteristic of the Bohemian style associated with Italian production.
Condition and Collector Interest
No written condition report is included with this lot, and this description does not confirm the condition of any individual piece. Prospective buyers are encouraged to request further details before bidding. The coordinated decanter and six-glass format, along with the ruby glass and decorative gilding, is likely to appeal to collectors of Bohemian-style glassware and to those seeking a matching set for display or entertaining.
