## A View of Caernarfon Castle
This watercolour painting by James Orrock depicts a serene view of Caernarfon Castle and the surrounding coastline. Executed with delicate brushwork and a muted palette, the painting captures the atmospheric quality of the Welsh landscape. The composition features the imposing castle as a focal point, balanced by the expanse of water and the subtle details of the foreground.
## Condition and Collectibility
The watercolour is presented within a decorative gilt frame, adding to its visual appeal. While showing signs of age consistent with a painting of this period, the watercolour remains in good condition, with no significant damage or restoration apparent. This piece would be a desirable addition to a collection of Victorian landscapes or Welsh art, offering a glimpse into the artistic sensibilities of the era.
