Collection of Japanese Porcelain

This lot comprises a collection of beautifully decorated Japanese porcelain, including several ginger jars and a matching teaset. The pieces exhibit intricate floral and bird motifs, characteristic of Imari and Satsuma ware. The vibrant colours and detailed craftsmanship suggest a high level of artistry and likely date from the late 19th or early 20th century. The teaset includes a teapot, cups, and saucers, all adorned with similar designs, creating a cohesive and elegant set.

Condition & Collectibility

The porcelain pieces show signs of age and use, with some minor wear to the glaze and potential hairline cracks, consistent with their age. Despite these minor imperfections, the collection remains visually appealing and retains its original charm. This collection would be of interest to collectors of Japanese porcelain, oriental ceramics, or those seeking a unique and decorative teaset for display or use.
