Kutani Porcelain Plates
This pair of 22cm plates showcases the vibrant artistry of Kutani porcelain, a style originating from the Kaga region of Japan. The plates feature intricate hand-painted designs, typical of the Kutani aesthetic, with bold colours and detailed scenes. The Imari style influence is evident in the rich red, gold, and blue palette, creating a visually striking and decorative piece.
Condition and Collectibility
These plates exhibit signs consistent with age and use, adding to their character and appeal. While there may be minor imperfections, these do not detract significantly from the overall beauty and collectibility of the pieces. Kutani porcelain is highly sought after by collectors of Asian ceramics, and this pair would be a wonderful addition to any collection or a striking display piece for those appreciating Japanese artistry.
