Large 4’ Breaker Bar for Heavy-Duty Lifting and Prising
This lot is a large 4’ breaker bar, a long steel tool of the type used for levering, prising and loosening heavy material. It is offered as a single item and is presented in the condition described below.
The bar is a long, solid steel section with a visibly tapered profile. One end appears to terminate in a flattened, angled tip, which would suit wedging and prising work, while the opposite end narrows to a point. No maker’s name or markings are evident, and the lot is offered without any attribution. Its length and straightforward form make it a practical example of a traditional hand-operated levering bar.
Weathered Condition with Original Character
The bar shows an overall dark, weathered surface, with signs of surface rust and general wear consistent with age and use. No replacement parts or additions are evident. Buyers interested in old workshop tools, site equipment or traditional hand tools may value it for its original, unrestored appearance and its substantial 4’ length.
