Victorian Copper Jam Pan

This large copper jam pan is a classic example of Victorian kitchenalia, likely used for preserving fruits and making jams. The pan features a substantial, heavy-gauge copper construction, indicative of its intended use for prolonged heating over an open fire or stove. Its generous size suggests it was intended for large-batch preserving, a common practice in Victorian households.

Condition & Collectibility

The pan shows signs of age and use, with a developed patina and some minor imperfections consistent with its age. These marks add to its character and authenticity, appealing to collectors of antique kitchen tools and copperware. This pan would be a wonderful addition to a collection or a decorative piece for a country kitchen, evoking a sense of history and traditional craftsmanship.
