Lathe Cutting Tools

This lot comprises two tins containing a collection of lathe cutting tools, commonly used for turning, facing, and other machining operations. The tools appear to be of varying shapes and sizes, suggesting a range of applications in metalworking and engineering. These tools would have been essential for shaping materials on a lathe, a cornerstone of many workshops and manufacturing processes.

Condition

The tools show signs of prior use, with some exhibiting wear and patina consistent with age and handling. While the tools are presented as found, their vintage appeal and potential for restoration or continued use make them desirable for collectors, hobbyists, or those seeking authentic workshop tools. The tins themselves also contribute to the overall vintage aesthetic and provide a convenient means of storage.
