Leather Topped Mahogany Office Cabinet
This lot is a leather topped mahogany office cabinet, offered as a useful piece for a study, home office or workspace. It has a green leather inset to the top, framed by a moulded mahogany edge, and gold tooled border lines running around the writing surface. The cabinet has four graduated drawers with brass swan-neck handles and a plinth base. The upper drawer has a lock with a key. The drawer fronts show a figured mahogany veneer, and the case is finished in a traditional reproduction style.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The leather top shows general signs of age and use, including some surface wear and marking, which is to be expected for a piece of this type. The brass handles and the drawer fronts appear to be original to the piece, and the tooled border remains clearly defined. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
