Ledbury F W & Co Porcelain Wash Bowl and Jug

This antique wash bowl and jug set is crafted from porcelain by Ledbury F W & Co. The set features a delicate floral pattern with a scalloped rim, typical of Victorian-era wash sets. The jug has a comfortable handle and a spout for easy pouring, while the bowl is generously sized for practical use. This set would have been a staple in bedrooms for personal hygiene before indoor plumbing became commonplace.

Condition and Collectibility

This Ledbury wash bowl and jug set shows signs of age and use, with some minor crazing to the glaze and possible wear to the floral detailing. Despite this, the set remains a charming example of Victorian porcelain and would be a desirable addition to a collection of antique wash sets or decorative porcelain. Collectors appreciate these sets for their historical significance and aesthetic appeal, and this particular set is a lovely example of Ledbury F W & Co’s craftsmanship.
