Description

This is a padded top Lloyd Loom blanket box, a classic example of British craftsmanship. Constructed from woven paper pulp, the Lloyd Loom technique creates a durable yet lightweight frame. The box features a lift-up lid revealing ample storage space, and is finished in a pale green hue. This piece would have originally been designed for storing blankets and linens, offering a stylish and practical solution for bedroom or hallway organisation.

Condition

This blanket box shows signs of age and use, consistent with its vintage nature. The woven material exhibits some wear and minor imperfections, adding to its character. While the structure remains sound, there may be some fading or slight damage to the finish. This piece is of interest to collectors of vintage furniture and those seeking a unique and functional storage solution with a touch of mid-century charm.
