Long Handle Lawn Aerator
This long handle lawn aerator is a manual garden tool intended for working the surface of turf. It has a metal frame fitted with spiked wheels at the lower end, joined to a long timber handle with a yellow finish and a green collar at the joint. A metal cross bar sits across the upper part of the frame, providing a point of attachment for the handle. The spiked wheels carry multiple tines each, and the overall construction is simple and robust in appearance.
Condition and Collectability
The aerator shows clear signs of age and outdoor use. Rust is visible across the metal frame, cross bar and spiked wheels, and the handle shows wear and weathering to its painted finish. The surface corrosion and worn finish are evident in the overall presentation of the piece. Buyers interested in traditional hand-operated garden tools, or those seeking a practical lawn care implement with a long handle for upright use, may find this lot of interest.
