Longines Gents Automatic Wristwatch with Ultra-Chron Dial
This gents automatic wristwatch is by Longines, the Swiss watchmaker, and is offered as a vintage timepiece. The round gold tone case is fitted with a silvered dial bearing the Longines name, the word Automatic and the Ultra-Chron name. The dial has applied baton-style hour markers, with a date aperture at the three o’clock position and the wording Swiss Made visible near the base of the dial. The hands are gold tone, and the watch is fitted with a brown leather strap with a crocodile-effect embossed finish. The crown sits at the three o’clock position, on the right-hand side of the case.
Condition and Collectability
The watch is offered as not working and has not been confirmed as running. Visible wear includes scratches to the dial and surface marks to the case, and the leather strap shows signs of age. Dial and case wear are consistent with a watch of this era. Buyers interested in vintage Longines pieces, particularly automatic models with the Ultra-Chron dial, may wish to consider this watch as a project or for restoration. It is sold as seen.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
