Luftwaffe Condolence Letter

This is a German Luftwaffe condolence letter, dated March 27th, 1944, acknowledging the death of Obergefreite Jakob Witt. The document is presented on a folded card stock, bearing the Iron Cross emblem at the top. It details that Witt died as a hero for the Führer, Volk and Vaterland, and was issued by the Reich Minister of the Luftwaffe and Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe. The letter is signed by a Major and Commander, with a unit stamp present.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
