A Novelty Lunatic Asylum Metal Sign
This novelty metal sign is styled as a mock asylum warning plaque. The white face carries the red blackletter heading “Lunatic Asylum”, beneath which the black serif capitals read “WARNING VERY INSANELY BONERS PEOPLE LIVE HERE”. The design is framed by a black border and a rust-effect edge, which gives the sign a weathered, aged appearance. It is a tongue-in-cheek piece intended for display as a wall sign.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The sign presents with a clean white face and crisp lettering, while the rust-effect border is part of its distressed finish. Any further condition details are not stated in this description, and no maker or origin has been identified. Its bold, humorous wording and vintage-style warning graphics may appeal to collectors of novelty signage, to those decorating a game room, bar or man cave, or to anyone who enjoys quirky metal wall art.
