Lot 543: LV Style Bum Bag and Vintage Cigarette Case
This lot comprises an LV style bum bag and a vintage cigarette case. The bum bag is finished in a brown and tan chequerboard pattern reminiscent of the Louis Vuitton Damier canvas, with a woven webbing strap and a zipped main compartment. A rectangular label to the front bears the wording “Louis Vuitton Paris”. The cigarette case is covered in a brown monogram-style print with a silver-tone banding across the lid and a hinged opening. Both pieces are presented together as a mixed lot.
Condition and Collector Interest
The lot is offered for repair, and no working order is implied. The bum bag shows general wear to the coated canvas and handling marks, and the zip requires attention. The cigarette case shows surface wear to the printed finish and the edges. Its originality is not confirmed by the auctioneer, and the lot is described as LV style.
