Mahogany Two Over Four Hall Cabinet
This mahogany hall cabinet is arranged as two short drawers over four graduated long drawers, offering a practical arrangement of storage for a hallway, bedroom or study. It is offered as lot 1201 in this sale.
The cabinet is finished in a warm mahogany tone and has a moulded top edge. Each drawer is fitted with a pair of brass-finish bail handles with circular backplates, and the case stands on bracket feet. The drawers are arranged in a traditional form, with the upper pair set side by side and the lower four stacked in turn.
Condition and Collectability
The top shows general surface marks and light scratches consistent with age and use, and there is wear to the edges and handles. The drawers and case are presented as seen in the catalogue, and prospective buyers are encouraged to inspect the piece in person or request further details before bidding. The cabinet retains its original drawer arrangement and handles, which may appeal to collectors of traditional mahogany storage or to buyers seeking a substantial piece of case furniture for a period-style interior.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos.
