A Boxed Set of Eight Maisto and Shell Sportscar Models
This lot comprises eight diecast sports car models from the Maisto and Shell Sportscar Collection, each presented in its own yellow display box with a clear viewing window. The line-up covers a range of late twentieth-century supercars and grand tourers, including a Lotus Esprit, Aston Martin Virage, Porsche 911 Speedster, Lotus Elan, BMW 850i, Ferrari 348ts, Lamborghini Diablo and Jaguar XJS V12. Finished in a variety of colours, from white, silver and green to red, yellow and blue, the models carry the Shell and Maisto branding on their packaging, reflecting the promotional nature of the series. Each car is named on the front of its box, making the set easy to identify and display.
Presented in Original Yellow Display Boxes
Each model is shown in its original yellow card box with a clear plastic window, and the packaging appears to be in generally good order with only light signs of handling. As the models are displayed in their boxes, the bodywork and wheels can be viewed without removing them, which helps preserve their original presentation. This set will appeal to collectors of promotional motoring memorabilia, Maisto diecast enthusiasts and anyone looking to build or complete a themed display of classic supercars. Keeping the models together as a group of eight adds to their appeal, as matched sets of this kind are often sought after by collectors.
