British Dairy Farmers Association Medal
This is a bronze medal awarded by the British Dairy Farmers Association, presented by Mappin & Webb Ltd of Oxford Street, London. The circular medal features a detailed relief depicting a farmer with livestock, including cattle and pigeons. The reverse bears the inscription “British Dairy Farmers Association” and the Mappin & Webb hallmark, signifying quality craftsmanship. The medal is housed in its original fitted presentation case, lined with a cream satin interior and a deep blue velvet exterior, bearing the Mappin & Webb appointment crest.
Condition and Collectibility
The medal and presentation case show signs of age and wear, consistent with their vintage. The velvet exterior of the case exhibits some fading and minor wear to the edges, while the satin interior displays some discolouration. Despite this, the medal remains in good condition, retaining much of its original detail and patina. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
