Marshall TSL100 JCM 2000 Head and Marshall 1960A Lead 4×12 Cabinet

This lot comprises a Marshall TSL100 JCM 2000 Triple Super Lead guitar amplifier head, stacked upon a Marshall Model 1960A Lead 4×12 speaker cabinet. The head is finished in Marshall’s familiar black covering with a silver script logo to the front grille, and its gold-coloured control panel carries the JCM 2000 Triple Super Lead branding. The control panel is arranged with numerous rotary controls for channel, gain, EQ and master settings, together with footswitch-style channel selection and a front input jack. The 1960A cabinet houses four 12-inch speakers behind a black grille cloth bearing the Marshall logo, and is fitted with castors for ease of movement.

Condition and Collector Interest

The amplifier head and cabinet show the expected general wear for equipment of this age and use, including scuffs and marks to the covering and handling wear to the corners. The cabinet is fitted with four castors and the grille cloth appears intact, with the cabinet’s piping and trim visibly worn in places. Both pieces retain their original Marshall finish and controls, which will appeal to players and collectors seeking an original JCM 2000 and 1960A pairing. No guarantee of function is given, and interested parties are encouraged to view the lot in person before bidding.
