Antique Silver Plate Spirit Kettle & Coffee Pot
This elegant set comprises a silver plate spirit kettle and a matching coffee pot, both crafted by Martin Hall & Co. The kettle features intricate detailing and a classic Victorian aesthetic, designed for use with a spirit burner for heating. The coffee pot mirrors the kettle’s design, creating a cohesive and refined tea and coffee service. Both pieces exhibit the hallmarks of quality craftsmanship typical of Martin Hall & Co, known for their silver plate production during the Victorian era.
Condition and Collectibility
The set presents with signs consistent with age and use, including surface wear and potential patina. While the silver plate retains much of its original lustre, closer inspection may reveal minor imperfections. This set would appeal to collectors of antique silver plate, Victorian tea sets, or those seeking a unique and decorative addition to their home. The set’s age and maker add to its desirability and potential value.
