Masonic Leather Case and Regalia
This antique leather case houses a collection of Masonic regalia, including a blue and gold embroidered collar and apron. The case itself is a hard-sided travelling case with a carrying handle and a locking mechanism. Included are several certificates relating to the Royal Naval Mark Master Lodge, suggesting a connection to naval Freemasonry. The contents suggest a member’s personal collection of items used in ceremonies and meetings.
Condition and Collectibility
The case and its contents show signs of age and wear, consistent with their vintage. The leather case exhibits scuffs and marks, while the apron and collar display some fading and minor wear to the embroidery. Despite this, the items remain largely intact and present a fascinating glimpse into the history of Masonic orders. This set would be of interest to collectors of Masonic memorabilia, particularly those interested in naval Freemasonry or vintage regalia.
