Mechanics Crawler Board
This lot is a mechanics crawler board, offered as a single item. It is a low, slatted timber board designed for working beneath a vehicle.
The board is constructed from five narrow timber slats set side by side and held together at the top, where a navy padded cushion is fitted across the head. The cushion provides a level surface for the user’s head and shoulders. The wood has been stained or darkened over time, giving the slats a deep brown, mottled finish. No maker’s name is visible on the board.
Condition and Originality
The board shows dark staining and general marks of use across the timber slats, with some darker patches visible along their length. The navy padded cushion appears to be fitted in place and carries a small white label. The board is offered as seen in the photograph, and no further details of its history or provenance are known. Buyers interested in workshop tools and vintage garage equipment may appreciate the traditional slatted construction and the weathered character of the timber.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
