Medieval Chain Mace
This is a medieval-style chain mace, featuring a flanged metal head connected to a wooden haft by lengths of chain. The head is constructed with multiple protruding flanges, designed to deliver concussive force and bypass armour. The haft appears to be crafted from a turned wood, providing a grip for wielding the weapon. This piece evokes the weaponry of the medieval period, suitable for display or costuming.
Condition & Collectibility
This mace exhibits signs consistent with age and handling. The wood may show wear, and the metal head may exhibit patina or minor corrosion. While the item’s functionality is not assessed, it presents as a visually striking piece for collectors of historical weaponry, fantasy enthusiasts, or those seeking unique decorative items. Its aesthetic appeal and historical style make it a desirable addition to a collection.
