Description
This is a Jacquard woven tapestry depicting a medieval revival scene. The tapestry features a rich colour palette and intricate detailing, showcasing floral motifs intertwined with heraldic designs suggestive of a courtly setting. The weaving technique creates a textured surface, adding depth and visual interest to the piece.
Condition
This tapestry exhibits signs consistent with age and use, including some fading and minor wear to the edges. Despite these characteristics, the overall structure remains sound, and the vibrant colours are largely preserved. This piece would appeal to collectors of antique textiles, those interested in medieval aesthetics, or anyone seeking a unique and decorative wall hanging.
