Two Metal Headboards
Offered here is a lot of two metal headboards, one finished in white and one in dark grey. Both are offered as a pair of separate items for the buyer’s consideration.
The white headboard has a horizontal top rail and a central panel of scrolling metalwork, with a circular motif flanked by heart-shaped scrolls. The dark grey headboard has an arched top rail, slender vertical and horizontal bars, and two gold-tone cast panels of foliate scrollwork. Its uprights are finished with decorative finials. No maker or brand is visible on either piece.
Condition and Collector Interest
Both headboards show general signs of age and use, including dust and grime on the surfaces, and the paint finish appears worn in places. They are offered as seen and have not been tested for completeness or function. Buyers interested in restoration projects, cottage-style interiors or painted metal bedroom furniture may find this lot of particular appeal.
