Military Pocket Watch Overview

This is a military pocket watch, featuring a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial. The watch has a hinged, silver-toned case and is accompanied by a long, linked chain, likely for attaching to a uniform or waistcoat. The style suggests a turn-of-the-century or early 20th-century military issue timepiece, designed for practicality and durability in the field.

Condition and Collectibility

This pocket watch shows signs of age and use, with wear to the case and dial commensurate with its age. The watch is currently not functioning, and its internal mechanisms may require attention from a qualified horologist. Despite this, it remains a fascinating piece for collectors of military memorabilia, vintage watches, or horological history, offering a glimpse into the past and a tangible connection to a bygone era.
