Military Tent with Ground Sheet and Foam Roll-Out Bed Lot
This lot is offered as a military tent with ground sheet and a foam roll-out bed, presented together with additional canvas and nylon bundles. The tent is contained within a rolled olive green canvas bundle secured with webbing straps. The foam roll-out bed is wrapped in olive green fabric and fastened with green webbing ties, and a further green nylon carry bag is included. Together, the items reflect traditional field camping and bivouac equipment.
Condition and Collectability
The items show general signs of age and use, including scuffing and marks to the surfaces of the foam bed and staining and wear to some of the canvas bundles. The webbing ties and carry bags appear to remain in place with their original fastenings. Lots of this type of military-style camping equipment hold interest for collectors of military field kit, outdoor enthusiasts and re-enactors looking for period-appropriate camping gear.
