Vintage Miranda MI Multi-Dedicated Flashgun 700 CD
This Miranda MI Multi-Dedicated Flashgun 700 CD is a vintage accessory for the film photographer, offered in its original Miranda box. The lid carries the Miranda MI logo and the model name, with “Multi-Dedicated Flashgun 700 CD” set in bold black and red lettering. Miranda was a respected Japanese camera manufacturer, and its dedicated flash units were designed to match the exposure systems of compatible Miranda bodies. The side panel of the box refers to a wide angle adaptor and three coloured filters in red, blue and green, which points to the creative lighting options the system was designed to offer. Collectors of Japanese photographic equipment from this era often seek out well-presented Miranda accessories.
Packaging, Condition and Collector Appeal
The flashgun is presented in its original cardboard box with the unit wrapped in protective bubble wrap, and the box shows the typical handling marks you would expect from a piece of this age. The flash itself has not been tested, and the buyer should assume it is offered for display, study or restoration unless otherwise confirmed. Original boxed Miranda accessories are less common than the cameras they were made for, which gives this item appeal to collectors building a Miranda system or to enthusiasts who appreciate period packaging. For anyone interested in vintage camera flash units, it offers a tangible link to 1980s film photography.
