Mixed Bag of Cricket Club Caps

This lot comprises a bag of mixed cricketing caps representing a range of clubs and colourways. The selection includes dark green caps with embroidered club insignia, including one reading Greenhill Cricket Club, alongside a navy cap bearing the name Lambrook. Further caps in green, pale mint and maroon are included, several with embroidered or appliqued badges and crests. The caps appear to be of a traditional wool-style construction with peaked fronts, the classic design associated with club cricket.

Condition and Collectable Interest

Some caps in this lot remain in their original clear plastic wrappers, while others appear to have been unwrapped and handled. Any visible wear, marks or fading should be considered when bidding, and the full condition of each cap should be checked during viewing. Caps of this kind hold interest for collectors of club and county cricket memorabilia, as well as for clubs, players and supporters seeking historic or replacement headwear. The variety of clubs and colours offers an unusual opportunity to build a mixed collection in one lot.
