Mixed Tray of Ceramic Jugs, Mugs and Cups with Saucers
This lot comprises a tray of mixed ceramics, including jugs, mugs and cups with saucers. The assortment brings together pieces in a range of forms and finishes, offering variety for collectors of kitchenalia, everyday china and decorative pottery. Lot 625 is offered as a single mixed tray.
The selection includes a brown glazed jug with a wavy rim and a pair of applied handles, alongside white glazed jugs and a larger white and tan jug with carved horizontal ribbing. Mugs feature a yellow and white striped design, a green and white striped design and a blue-rimmed example. A commemorative mug decorated with a townscape scene sits among the group. A cup and saucer with a floral pattern and gilt rim, a further cup with gilt detailing and a small glass tumbler complete the tray. Maker’s marks are not clearly evident, so the lot is described as unbranded.
Condition and Collector Interest
Condition has not been fully assessed for each individual piece, and the lot is offered as seen. Prospective buyers are strongly advised to inspect the tray in person or request further details before bidding, as the cups, saucers and jugs have not been tested for function. The variety of glazes, shapes and decorative styles may appeal to collectors building a themed set, those seeking vintage kitchen or dining ware, or buyers looking for a flexible mixed lot for display or everyday use.
