Tin of Mixed Coins
This lot comprises a quantity of mixed coins housed in a black metal box with a hinged lid. The coins appear to span both British and overseas issues, with silver-toned and bronze-toned pieces in a range of sizes. Among them are coins bearing the portrait of Elizabeth II, a coin inscribed Crown, a coin inscribed Half Crown, and a coin inscribed One Dollar. Several bimetallic examples are also present, including one with a numeral 5 visible. The box itself has a simple latch fastening and a flat, utilitarian construction typical of a small cash box.
Condition and Collector Interest
The coins show varied wear, with some surfaces toned, marked or discoloured and others with clearer detail. The metal box displays scuffing and paint wear consistent with age and use, and the lid has some marks to its interior. No individual coin has been examined or verified for authenticity, grade or completeness of the group. The lot may be of interest to collectors who enjoy sorting through mixed quantities for pre-decimal and decimal British coinage, as well as those seeking foreign issues to add to a collection or study.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that once a bid is placed we will not be able to issue any refunds unless there is a clear and obvious error made by ourselves in the item title, in the event of an incorrect bid being placed, you must contact us on the mobile phone number 07904 339160/description.
Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
