Mixed Box Lot of Glass and China Including Royal Worcester Jug and Wedgwood Peter Rabbit Mug
This mixed box lot brings together a range of glassware, ceramics and household items. The principal ceramic piece is a brown glazed jug with a domed lid and a loop handle, which the vendor describes as Royal Worcester. Also included is a Wedgwood Peter Rabbit mug decorated with the Beatrix Potter character, alongside a ceramic tankard with a moulded handle and a painted scene. The lot is completed by a selection of stemmed wine and sherry glasses, a cut-glass goblet, a small footed egg cup, a shallow rectangular tray with a stylised design, a black and white framed print and a Microwise Microwave Oven Chip Cooker box.
Condition and Collectable Interest
The items are offered as seen in the box, and prospective buyers are encouraged to view the lot in person or request further images and details before bidding. The lot is sold without any guarantee of completeness, and individual pieces should be checked for chips, cracks and wear. The Wedgwood Peter Rabbit mug and the Royal Worcester jug are the most likely to appeal to collectors of character ware and English ceramics, while the mixed glassware and tankard add variety for those building a kitchen or cabinet collection or looking for household bargains.
