Mixed Lot of Model Trains and Diecast Vehicles
This lot comprises five models: two boxed locomotive models, two boxed diecast vehicles and one diecast model presented in a clear display case. The locomotives are labelled on their bases as “Duchess LMS” and “LNER Flying Scotsman”, the latter in the green livery of the London and North Eastern Railway. The two boxed diecast vehicles, described as Ford Motor Company models, comprise a black saloon and a yellow and brown woodgrain-panelled estate. The cased model is a dark coloured saloon, described as a Rover 100th anniversary model. Together the lot offers a varied selection of transport models across rail and road.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The locomotives remain in their original card and plastic presentation boxes, which show general handling wear. The diecast vehicles are also housed in their original boxes, with some marks and creasing to the card packaging, and the Rover model sits in its clear display case. The models have been offered as found, and no further testing or inspection has been undertaken on their operation or fittings. Buyers interested in railway memorabilia or classic motoring models may find this grouping of boxed examples appealing, particularly for display or as a collection with mixed themes.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that once a bid is placed we will not be able to issue any refunds unless there is a clear and obvious error made by ourselves in the item title, in the event of an incorrect bid being placed, you must contact us on the mobile phone number 07904 339160/description.
Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
