Moorcroft Large Magnolia Pattern Table Lamp
This large Moorcroft table lamp is decorated in the magnolia pattern, a design associated with the Moorcroft pottery company. The lamp is formed from a vase-shaped ceramic body with a rounded base, a waisted neck and a flared shoulder, mounted on a turned wooden plinth and fitted with a brass lamp holder.
The cream ground is decorated with large pink blooms, green leaves and buds, and brown branches, with the motifs defined by fine outlines. The design is spread across the body of the vase, giving the piece a bold floral presence that suits a traditional or contemporary interior.

No obvious chips or cracks are noted in the lot description at the time of cataloguing, and the glaze appears clean and even.
