Motoring Ephemera Collection
This lot comprises a collection of vintage motoring ephemera, including an Autocolor color register, a Lockheed hydraulic brake part catalogue, and a copy of Old Glory magazine. The Autocolor register likely served as a guide for paint matching and colour identification in the mid-20th century, while the Lockheed catalogue details parts and specifications for hydraulic brake systems. Old Glory magazine provides a snapshot of the automotive culture and events of its time.
Condition and Collectibility
The items within this lot exhibit signs of age and use, consistent with their vintage. The paper goods show wear, including creasing, foxing, and minor tears. Despite this, the ephemera remains a fascinating glimpse into automotive history and would appeal to collectors of vintage motoring literature, automotive memorabilia, or those interested in the evolution of car design and technology.
