NAD C 440 RDS Stereo Tuner
This lot is a NAD C 440 RDS stereo tuner, offered as part of an auction of hi-fi and electrical items. It is presented as a standalone hi-fi component for use with a separates system.
The unit is made by NAD and carries the model designation C 440 on its dark grey front fascia. It is styled as a low-profile rack-mount component with a flat top cover and a horizontal front panel. The front is laid out with a central illuminated display window, a green power button at the lower left, and a tuning and preset dial at the upper right. A row of push buttons beneath the display is labelled for AM/FM band selection, bank, search/preset, blend, memory, FM mute/mode, PS/RT, character and delete. The RDS logo is printed on the lower right of the fascia.
Condition and Collector Interest
The tuner shows general signs of handling, with light scuffs and surface marks visible on the top cover. The front fascia and button legends appear intact, and the display window is clear. The unit has not been tested and no further information on its internal condition is given. Buyers interested in NAD separates, or in RDS-equipped FM tuners from the C 400 series, may find this a useful addition to a restoration project or a classic hi-fi collection.

We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
