Two Swedish Orrefors Crystal Vases
This lot comprises two clear crystal vases bearing the Orrefors name, the Swedish glassworks long associated with Scandinavian design. One is a tall, slender form that narrows towards a flared rim, with a thick, rounded base. The other is a rectangular vase with straight sides and softly rounded corners, offering a more architectural profile. Both are of clear glass, and the taller example retains its red triangular Orrefors Sweden label to the base.
Condition and Collector Appeal
Both vases are presented in clear crystal with no colouring or decoration beyond the glass itself, so their form and clarity are the principal features. The taller vase carries its original Orrefors Sweden label, which supports its attribution and is of interest to those collecting Swedish glass. Some light surface marks are visible on the rectangular example, and buyers are advised to examine the lot in person before bidding. The pairing of two differing forms from the same maker makes this lot appealing to collectors of mid-century and later Scandinavian glassware, as well as to those seeking simple, well-proportioned pieces for display.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
