Antique Chinese Guardian Lions

This pair of antique Chinese Foo Dog statues depict the traditional guardian lions, symbols of protection and good fortune in Chinese culture. Crafted from ceramic with a vibrant blue glaze, these statues exhibit intricate detailing in their manes and facial expressions. The statues stand approximately 10 inches tall and are designed to be displayed as a pair, often flanking entrances or important spaces.

Condition and Collectibility

These statues show signs of age and wear consistent with their antique status, adding to their character and authenticity. While there may be minor imperfections or wear to the glaze, these do not detract from the overall aesthetic appeal. These statues would be a valuable addition to a collection of Chinese antiques or a striking decorative element for those interested in Eastern art and symbolism.
