Pair of Burgundy Italian Leather Armchairs
This lot comprises a pair of burgundy leather armchairs, described as Italian, finished with wooden side trim to the front arm panels. Each chair has a deep, sculpted back with a central panel and rolled, upholstered arms, giving the pair a substantial, traditional profile. The polished wooden detailing along the front of each arm is set against the rich burgundy leather, and each chair stands on small turned wooden feet. The two chairs are offered as a matched pair.
Condition and Collector Appeal
Both chairs show general signs of use, including light creasing and surface marks to the leather, with some wear visible on the seat cushion of the right-hand chair. A control unit with attached cabling is currently fitted to the left-hand chair. The item is offered in its present condition, and prospective buyers are encouraged to inspect the pair in person before bidding. The deep burgundy finish and matched pairing will appeal to buyers seeking statement seating for a traditional interior or a classic leather armchair pair for restoration or display.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
